Data Sources

Coverage by State

Filed provides business entity data from all 50 US states. See which states are available and what data fields each provides.

State Coverage

Filed pulls business entity data directly from all 50 state Secretary of State databases (or equivalent agencies). Every state provides at minimum: entity name, type, status, formation date, and registered agent.

Data availability varies by state — some provide officer/director names, detailed filing histories, and annual report data, while others provide only basic registration information.
